On October 2019, the Alberta Securities Commission sanctioned Foundation Capital otherwise known as the Harvest Group, and it’s leader of the day Ronald Aitkens and Roy Beyer. Aikens was fined $600,000 as an administrative penalty by the Commission..
Foundation Capital was a real estate trust conglomerate with about 12 or so projects going on at once. Investors in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan collectively lost millions in these promotions.
At least one of the projects, Spruce Capital was taken over by the original investors, and they are still running the operation.
